Anne’s Light

Dance and education programme for schools

Anne’s Light is a GroundBreakers dance and education programme for schools, students and education partners. Inspired by the story of Anne Frank and by histories of resistance during the Second World War, the programme invites young people to reflect on freedom, war, memory and responsibility.

The programme

Through performance, reflection and dialogue, Anne’s Light creates space for students to encounter history through the body. The programme brings together:

  • Contemporary dance
  • Street dance
  • Shaolin movement
  • Chinese acrobatics
  • Reflection and dialogue

The work asks how stories from the past can help us think about courage, humanity and our responsibility toward one another today.

2026 school programme

GroundBreakers is preparing Anne’s Light for schools and education partners in 2026. Confirmed dates, locations and participating schools will be published here once finalised.
